Catacombs Mysteries is run by author Mary Litton. This page explains what information we collect on catacombsmysteries.com, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- A grown-up's email address. To unlock games 2 through 6, a parent, grandparent, or guardian enters an email address and confirms they are 18 or older.
- Nothing from children. We do not ask for, collect, or store any information from children.
- A note on your device. After you unlock the games, your browser stores a small note so the games stay unlocked on that device. It contains no personal information.
- Basic website records. Our website host, Netlify, keeps standard technical records such as IP addresses and pages visited to run and protect the site.
How we use your email
- To unlock games 2 through 6.
- To send occasional news and updates about Catacombs Mysteries books, games, and related resources. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who can see your email
- Service providers. Our website host and email service store your email address and send messages on our behalf.
- If the business changes hands. If Catacombs Mysteries, or the books, games, or website, are sold or transferred to another owner, your email address may be transferred as part of that sale. The new owner would be responsible for using it as described in this policy.
- When required by law. We may share information if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message. To have your email address deleted, use the form below and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
